How To Combine Secret Nutrients To Boost Your Health

Now most marketing efforts would lead you to believe that taking a single pill or focusing on a single super food will boost your health. Well, the reality is that taking in a wide variety of foods is the best approach-but most people don’t like to hear this.

Unfortunately, advertising complete nutrition is not as profitable as advertising the next magic pill. But in reality, eating a wide combination of nutrients is what leads to maximum health.

So here are some nutrient combinations that will have a big impact on your health:

1. The power of the sun and milk: What I’m referring to here is vitamin D and calcium. You see, if you are getting low amounts of calcium, vitamin D can help your body make the most out of what it’s getting. So make sure you get plenty of vitamin D and calcium so that you never fall short here.

2. Salt and bananas: If you are like most people in modern society, you are getting too much salt in your diet. And too much salt leads to higher blood pressure-not a good thing. Now one way to lower levels of salt in your body is by eating bananas, or more accurately, potassium. You see, potassium causes your body to release more salt via urine.

3. Zinc and copper: Although zinc and copper deficiencies are rare in modern diets, there is some concern because of over-supplementation. You see, zinc and copper compete for the same absorption sites in the small intestine. Thus, if you over-supplement with one, you could block the absorption of another.

4. Turkey and niacin: Okay, turkey has a lot of tryptophan. And tryptophan can help your body produce more niacin. Now recall that niacin is a great nutrient because it improves cholesterol profiles. And a better cholesterol profile will translate into better heart health.

Now the key here is to look at nutrition in terms of variety, not in terms of taking large doses of single nutrients.

And make sure you take action on this information sooner rather than later. After all, later usually never comes!
